Riverbed Rescue

This is the scene as you get onto the 57frwy from Orangewood Ave, literally a stones throw away from Angel Stadium. This is not ok to me...

I once believed the people living down in the riverbed were there by choice. The power of choice has long left these people. Having had a history with drugs and alcohol, I know this to be true.

This coming Saturday, October 29th, I would like to bless the homeless by bringing coffee and donuts, along with some more rain panchos, down to "the untouchables" and minister to these people.

My boss and I got a chance to go down today, Monday the 24th, and bring 30 rain suits... we didn't even scratch the surface of how many were actually living down there, but we planted a seed. Will you help water that seed???

Today we bought, (Brent bought*) 30 panchos @ $4 = $120... I want to bring 100 more = $400

A dozen donuts from Krispy Kream is about $8... I want to bring 12 dozen donuts this weekend = about $100

My boss and I will brew up two large cambros of coffee (our donation).

I have a changed heart after what I experienced today at
 the riverbed. I am praying that by your donations it will change you as well.

Hebrews 13:5 "...Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."

Let's show these people that God hasn't forgotten about them.
