RIP Douglass: Epilepsy Foundation

Donation protected
As you all may or may not know, my beloved little brother Douglass Kenoyer left this world to a much better place Monday morning 11/16/2015. Although he was taken extremely early from us, it seems as if God needed one of his strongest soldiers by his side much earlier than expected. I can't help myself from questioning "why" He had to take my baby brother from me, but I have to trust that there is a bigger plan at hand and Doug is pain free now. I took it upon myself to make this "gofundme" for several reasons. As we all know expenses and costs are last on the agenda during these tough times, however they are still high. I do not want my family to have to worry about that. The other reason is a little more personal. Douglass experienced 2 sudden seizures over the last few years, out of no where. His cause of death is still unknown: Sunday night he attended youth group (as he always loved attending) where he was found at the bottom of a stairwell in the building, unconscious (we believed he fell down). He stayed unsconscious for several hours as the paramedics and ER tried to reduce his internal bleeding and eventually tried to revive him. But it was to late at that point, God was ready for him. We will release more information when we receive it.  He was an extremely active kid and excelled in his sports. He ran track, wrestled, played basketball, baseball and just about every other sport he could possibly be involved in. To this day the doctors still never found an absolute reason as to why he experienced these seizures. I want to help end that confusion, not just in Douglass's case but world-wide. Seizures are very serious and over 50 million people worldwide are affected by them. That's 50 million people who can not go about their normal lives from day to day. Therefore, the excess money raised will be donated to the National Epilepsy Foundation in efforts to increase knowledge about seizures and raise awareness about them. These funds mean the world to my family and I and the cause is near and dear to my heart. No amount of money could ever replace the empty whole in my chest, now that my little brother is gone. But knowing that we can donate money to the National Epilepsy Foundation and help others affected by this serious medical condition makes the pain somewhat better. I would never wish this feeling upon anyone else. So please help us raise this money in efforts to aid my family, raise awareness and help those in need. God Bless. RIP Douglass.

Love Forever,
Your Proud, Big Brother Tyler
