RIP Uncle Jake

On Christmas day when most families are exchanging gifts, having a great time together, laughing, smiling, enjoying a couple drinks, and just loving the most happiest day of the year; my family on the other hand was far from any of that joy. Getting devasting news that my Uncle Jake had passed away early Christmas morning. At the time thats all we had knew, no one had any idea of what had happened. So I spent hours on the phone calling family and spreading tears among them. Then I had called police searching for answers. I finally got a call back from someone at the medical examiners office(which is located on the same block where I live) that my Uncle Jake was there. Finding out that he had passed from having atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (heart disaese) and pneumonia. This has been the worse Christmas any family could imagine. Also his birthday is December 29th, he would have turned 61. For most people that know me personally and my family - we are definitely family type of people, very close knit and love being together as a family. So we are all taking this pretty hard. Unfortuanlty most of my family lives under poverty level and with the holiday season coming to an end money is extremly tight for a lot of people. I had called a low cost funeral home and explained to him our situation. He begun to tell me the fee to retrieve the body, set up a time for a brief viewing of my Uncle, and then have his body cremated would cost $800. The generous man on the phone had felt for my family and said he would do it for a lower cost of $400. The immediate family, his brothers and nieces and nephews would also like to order prayer cards. Thats why im trying to raise roughly $450. I want to say thank you to everyone who has already wished my family their prayers and condolences to help us get through this tough holiday season. I also want to say thank you for anyone who is able to help in any possible way, dont be afraid to donate anything, no amount is to small and we greatly appreciate anything. God bless everyone!
