Rilei Bojangles Cancer Fund

On March 1st, Rilei went in for her ultrasound and what was meant to be just a crossing of the t’s and dotting of the i’s turned into my worst fears. Rilei has been diagnosed with transitional cell carcinoma AKA cancer of the bladder. The vet feels the cancer is wrapped in an area that makes removal through surgery almost impossible as they would need to detach portions that they may not be able to reattach making it impossible for her life to continue. We are starting oral drug treatment ASAP and her vet has recommended an oncology specialist at Auburn (March 12th) who may be able to provide additional options.

My #1 concern is and always will be her quality of life, and for the moment her vet assured me he didn't feel she was suffering, in pain or even uncomfortable at this time.
