South Sac Vikings Road to Nationals

This year, our South Sacramento Vikings  Pee Wee team, has gone undefeated. The team is currently 11-0 and are on there way to the local AYF CHAMPIONSHIP. Most of these young men have played with each other since the age of 5 as tiny mites. We've watched them grow to be young men. Their coach Beau Veimau and his staff has led them to victory many times over the years. He has taught the boys what it means to push through adversity and never give up. They brought home the NYFC championship in Las Vegas last year. Some of the boys had never travelled outside of the state before. We are asking for the help of sponsors local businesses, Viking alumni, They have been invited to compete at the AYF National Level in Florida this upcoming December. Due to the inability to raise enough funds needed to travel 22 young men across the country we have had to decline this trip in the past.  Most of these young men have a GPA of 3.5 or better. They work hard every day and have learned to be student athletes by balancing school and sports. These at risk inner city teens bypass gangs and other outside influences to stay focused as team players. They deserve the opportunity to experience playing on the gridiron against AYF's best. A number of these kids financially can't afford a trip like this. We are asking for your help. Please find it in your hearts to donate what you can. Also spread the word, ask others and donate a little more.
