Richard Farrington Memorial

On Monday, February 13th, 2017 Richard Farrington, the beloved House Father of Lambda Chi Alpha - Gamma Nu Zeta, passed away. Richard worked alongside his sister Sue Farrington, the House Mother/Chef, for over 15 years leaving a life-long impact on the lives of hundreds of young men. Richard's hard work over these years of service led to the implementation of our chapters highest scholarship award, the Sue and Richard Farrington Scholarship, that has provided financial support to countless brothers over the years. Most importantly, Richard was family and as his family, we want to do everything in our power to make sure that Sue and Brian are comfortably taken care of. In an attempt to give Sue and Brian a chance to handle all that is currently happening, we have given them the rest of the week off. Throughout this week, many of our active brothers have agreed on plans to cook and deliver meals to Sue's house daily as well as helping out as much as possible around the house over these next couple of weeks. If you are in the area and would like to help in the preparation of these meals or the organization of their delivery along with flowers or something of that nature, do not hesitate to stop by the house or reach out to Joey Schwind or Nick Verderame.  All proceeds will be going to Sue in an effort to lessen the financial burden of the funeral and other costs. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.
