Richard England's Baseball Career
An opportunity to continue my baseball career and potentially move up to the next level surfaced in Palm Springs, California. A winter league is hosted in the Palm Springs area during the month of January, 2017, that provides post collegiate players and ex-professionals with a chance to compete for big times contracts and various other professional signings. I was presented with this opportunity by a manger for one of the teams in the league and I am very enthusiastic about signing up. The biggest barrier in my situation is earning the money to pay for the transportation, housing, athletic gear, gym access, professional training, and most importantly, exposure to professional baseball scouts. I am very motivated at this time because I'm at the peak of my career and 22 years old with the biggest dreams around. At the cusp of greatness , I am asking for donations, or what I like to think of as investments, to fund and extend my career in the game of baseball. I will be training vigorously and working 50+ hours a week to make this a possibility as well, but in reality making $3,500 to spend on baseball on top of paying my bills here in the midwest will most definitely not be easy to accomplish on my own. Again, I am requesting any sort of donation to help fund this once in a lifetime opportunity. I believe I have done a lot to earn this, and would be very much appreciative of any financial support to get me to my ultimate life goal; playing professional baseball. I even appreciate you for taking the time to read this, I alreadycouldnt tell you thank you enough.
