As many of you know, Rich Palladino, a long time Delran resident, has been recently diagnosed with an incurable form of cancer called Multiple Myeloma.
Rich is the father of our long-time employee and now General Manager of Dooney’s Pub Delran Matt Palladino. He was a long time CFO of Saladworks Corp. and was unexpectedly laid off in December 2018. While searching for employment, Rich was diagnosed with cancer. This has been devastating to him and his family as they face insurmountable medical bills and upcoming expenses.
Rich would never reach out for help and we feel the desire to put together a benefit on his behalf to help his family as much as possible.

What Is Multiple Myeloma?
In multiple myeloma, a type of white blood cell called a plasma cell multiplies unusually. Normally, they make antibodies that fight infections. But in multiple myeloma, they release too much protein (called immunoglobulin) into your bones and blood. It builds up throughout your body and causes organ damage. The plasma cells also crowd normal blood cells in your bones. They release chemicals that trigger other cells to dissolve bone. The weak areas of bone this creates are called lytic lesions.
