Rich Cirivilleri, Camp Fire victim

Donation protected

Rich Cirivilleri, long-time member of the SF community, has lost his home and one of his two kittens in the Camp Fire.  They had only seconds to get out, and we his friends watched anxiously as he broadcasted his harrowing drive down the hill and, literally, through the flames.

His job is gone, we now know that his house is gone as well...but we the community are here for him.  Daddy Ray Tilton and Matthew Scott are backing this campaign to make sure Rich has food, gas, and shelter while he waits for whatever state and federal funds eventually become available.

Whatever money is raised will be presented to Rich by hand as a check.  Ray and Matthew are both known to be men of integrity, and photos will be posted of the check being handed to Rich.

Please help if you can.  With all that he's lost, we would love to be able to show Rich that he's not alone, that he's one of us, and that he's going to be ok.

Update 2018-11-13 - Rich is in the hospital in San Jose.  He has not been easy to reach, as a result, but recent Facebook videos mention at least 2 CAT scans and an MRI.  As a result, we are raising the goal - he may have medical bills and clearly his job hunt will be delayed.

By the way: I made up the GoFundMe goal!  It's completely arbitrary and based on what I thought was realistic, but I obviously completely underestimated the love you all have for Rich and his kitties.  Please don't let my shortsightedness get in the way of your generosity!  I received word today that some of you were holding back because the goal had been reached... it hasn't.  Until we see Rich happy, safe and healthy with a secure future, we will continue to offer him our love and help - just as he would do for each of us.

Thank you again for all that you're doing.  If you know someone who knows Rich, please send them this link and give them the opportunity to help!
