UNIONDALE RHYTHM OF THE KNIGHT

The Uniondale High School Rhythm of the Knight Show Choir is in its 7th year competing in Show Choir Competitions under the direction of Lynnette Carr-Hicks and Joynell Carr. They have appeared on NBC Today Show, CNN, Fox 5 and Friends, Good Day NY, ABC "Here and Now", Local Cable Stations MSG Varsity, Fios 1, News 12, Newsday, and New York Times, just to name a few.
They were featured in Newsday as the first group to perform at the newly renovated NYCB Live and Nassau Coliseum in NY during their Red Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. On March 9th the group went to FAME Competition in the Bronx, NY where they WON GRAND CHAMPION and Won Best Choreography, Best Stage Crew, Best Show Design, Best Combo, and Best Male Stage Presence. They later went to Andover, MA where they were 2nd Runner Up but still came home with Best Female Soloist and were tied with two of our own, Best Male Soloist, and Best Stage Performer. This past Sat April 7th the choir WON GRAND CHAMPION and Best Vocals, Best Choreography, Best Male Soloist, Best Female Soloist, and Best Male Presence. Now we qualify to go to NATIONALS in Chicago on April 21st but we don't have the money to go. We are asking for your help. We know that we are asking for a lot but we have a total of 45 student, our band,  a few chaperones, and our stage crew to fly to Chicago and their hotel stay. We also have to get a truck to get our costumes, instruments and our stage there as well.  PLEASE HELP US!!!! These kids are amazing. WE THANK YOU in ADVANCE!!!!
