We strive to offer a safe space to address basic needs and to be a hub for supportive resources and service. "
We are seeking to raise money for a new Homeless Day Resource Center in Redding!
Our vision for this new location is a safe space for unhoused citizens of Redding to find respite from the street, tend to personal hygiene and laundry needs, participate in empowering programs, and connect people with existing community resources.
Do you ever wonder what Redding would look like if our unhoused citizens had somewhere to store their belongings in the day, bathe, and launder their clothing? Would you even be able to tell they are homeless?
Our goal of $60K will provide the staff and services of a Day Center for Redding's unhoused citizens for one year.

---The initial Blueprint for Public Safety by the Matrix Corporation called for a Day Center for Redding’s unhoused citizens.
---The Strategic Plan to Respond to Homelessness developed by HomeBase called for a Day Center for Redding’s unhoused Citizens.
---Due to our commitment to client-centered services and programs, as well as a safe, judgement-free, low barrier facility, RHDRC has gained the trust and respect of many of Redding’s unhoused citizens.
