Rewilding Through Basketball

WHO WE ARE: 
Triple H Basketball is not an only a AAU basketball program with an emphasis on mentoring, teamwork, skill showcasing and getting kids into schools; but a program that also engages team members in extracurricular activities and volunteer events that help to restore balance within communities and ultimately, to our world.

BUT WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
Our team consists of group of young people willing to give back by donating their time to provide assistance to those in need; most often times those in impoverished areas in NYC & Native Reservations.

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT:
These activities and actions help team members foster a conscious awareness of how their actions affect the people and the world around them.  Team members will experience the value of interacting with different peoples, sharing knowledge and building respect for the world we share together.  

WHAT WE NEED: 
Triple H Basketball is seeking $3,000 in donations.
We need these funds as quickly as possible, as we are currently in our AAU basketball season and need to secure funds to travel, enter tournaments, secure jersey's and attire, hotel fee's, but also; achieve our philanthropic goals that our team has outside the court.  We rely entirely on donations and all of our Coaches and Directors volunteer.

OUR PHILANTHROPIC MISSION: 
-Raise funds and awareness for CANA Foundation’s rewilding Initiatives of America’s wild horses, habitats and collective humanity.

-Raise funds to support the humanitarian rewilding initiatives that Triple H enacts within the NYC community, and beyond.
We focus on impoverished areas in New York City and Native Reservations around the Country.

OUR BASKETBALL TEAM'S FUNDING NEEDS:
-Transportation to and from games.
-Jerseys and team clothing.
-Entering games and tournaments.
-Securing gym times to practice in. 


OUR VOLUNTEER, REWILDING INITIATIVES THAT WE ARE RAISING FUNDS FOR INCLUDE: 

-Building basketball courts in impoverished areas.

-Sending kids from the inner city out west to experience nature and indigenous understandings of ourselves and the world we share.

-Bring kids from Native Reservations out west for a week to NYC to experience life in New York City; basketball’s mecca.

-Participating in and facilitating community gardens or organic growing initiatives in urban and low income areas.

-Transportation for our team to get to volunteer events such as:
Soup kitchen services
Beach, street and community clean ups
Visiting hospitals and rehab centers
Basketball events with special needs and disabled individuals/ teams
