Reverend Malcolm Stephens passed away on April 15, 2017 from complications related to a ruptured brain tumor that he suffered almost three years ago. We were completely unaware of the tumor, as well as the physicians that treated him. When we would apply for life insurance, I and the children would always get approved. Unfortunately, Malcolm would not get approved but would receive only an explanation of "protein in the urine." After the operation, he was considered uninsurable due to a pre-existing condition.
Malcolm was still working and was an active and loving member of our family. His loss was a COMPLETE SHOCK. My youngest boys found him first in our home after a day of shopping in preparation for Easter.
Malcolm leaves a wife, and six children (2 in college). The emotional loss is devastating enough without the financial burdens associated with the loss of a second income. His wife, Carolyn will be in charge of all funds received and will use them towards funeral expenses.
