Return Mable to her Family

You all know I don't ask for money unless it's absolutely necessary.  

Below is a shortened version of the story of Mable.   As you know we
have tried every avenue to get Mable back.  This is now being worked
on with our attorney.  

Some of you are aware a lot was going on in the background.  We had
people offering to put money into the pot to buy Mable back.  We
offered to take the story down and make Heather a hero. She refused it all.  People offered to go get her. 

The woman with Mable has used every excuse to keep the dog.  The 
main reason is that the other dog will cave if she separates them.  She 
is a self professed dog trainer.  We learned the other dog was a
neighbor dog and that is why they were found together. 

I and many of the people on this page have encourage the family to 
hire the attorney to go get Mable.  Well, they have. 

Please help us.  No amount is too small and all is appreciated.

The story below….

Let me tell you about Mable. this is an example of what can go wrong.
She was found in Lake County and taken to the shelter. The shelter held her for 5 days. It turns out Mable was chipped, but the family didn’t
know this and didn’t register the chip. Mable got loose and ended up at the shelter. The family looked for Mable and for whatever reason, they couldn’t find her. They didn’t know until the 5th day that Mable was at
the shelter.

They called the shelter and found that Mable went to Northbound
Hounds Rescue. https://www.northboundhounds.com/

A rescue… That should be OK. They can get the dog back from a rescue. Well… it turns out the dog is said to have bonded with another dog and the rescue refuses to return the dog to the family who had her.

I called the rescue and was told that since they didn’t register the chip and didn’t check the pound in the allotted time, she will not return
Mable.

She legally adopted the dog. But wow…. How sad this family lost their
family pet in five days!!

I tried talking to the rescue as have others and have been shut down!

The owner of Mable tried talking to her. She offered her money and the heart is hard.

The family is devastated this is their dog… their child. Mable slipped out and now… she is gone. 

Personally, I couldn’t keep a dog if I knew a family was looking for it…
but I guess everyone doesn’t feel the way I do.

My heart is breaking for this family.
