Military Retirement and Move

After almost 23 years in the Navy, I am unable to find work in California. Most people believe Hospital Corpsman is a medical rate, so one should be good to go in the medical field after separation. Unfortunately, that is not the case. There is no direct civilian equivelancy for corpsmen, however the two areas that I would qualify for RespiratoryTherapy and Military Sealift Command - Medical Services Officer are so saturated in this area hiring is almost non-existant.  
   We have looked for a job in California for the past 3 months straight and with the cost of living, we are unable to maintain a stable environment for our sons. After one day of inquiring about a job in our home town, we were called the very next day for a phone interview. 
   We have since secured the job, but while waiting on the movers, our savings is dwindling to nothing and we must still make the trip. We humbly ask our neighbors, friends, brothers, sisters and family for a little assistance to transition to our new home and help tide us over for the first few weeks.
  We would be so appreciative of anything that you and your family could do for ours. We are a door always open kind of family and would have a dinner table and hot coffee cup waiting for you if you stop by...
