Women's March Florida is raising funds to sponsor women who have lost their right to vote due to a prior felony conviction (“Returning Citizen”) to attend The Convening. These women wish to gain training to improve the lives of fellow citizens, but are experiencing a financial hardship. Can we count on your support with a generous donation?
The Convening
FRRC is hosting The Convening this July 20-22, to train participants in engaging grassroots activities to improve the lives of our returning citizens and work to restore basic civil rights.
Training includes public education messaging, coalition building, a ballot initiative expert panel, collaborative planning, and capacity building organizing skills such as volunteer recruitment, voter education and more!
The Convening is open to anyone who wants to work toward creating a more inclusive democracy. Register here.

The Florida Rights Restoration Coalition
The Florida Rights Restoration Coalition (FRRC) is a non-partisan organization seeking to impact our economy and society as a whole by helping Florida join the 40 states that automatically restore the civil rights of all individuals with past felony convictions.

Proceeds from this campaign will go directly to sponsor individual women to attend The Convening. $5000 will sponsor 20 women to the event at a cost of $250 each, which will cover registration, hotel and meals.
