Rest In Peace, Dad, Policarpo Sanchez

Donation protected

Policarpo Sanchez was a hard-working man who came to the US for a better life. He decided to make a sacrifice in order to better situations for his three children back in California, Eduardo, Cristian, and Vianca, parting from them for better job opportunities in the state of Minnesota where he would be able to make enough money to support their needs. He was a great father who worked to the day before his passing, having his two sons and his twelve-year-old daughter's well beings in mind.

Whenever there was an obstacle blocking him from his goal, he would find a way around it,  always thinking of ways to overcome them. He was a funny guy who spread his joy with everyone. He was a father, a brother, a son and an uncle. Even after suffering a leg injury, he continued pushing through and going to work to bring support for his family. He always helped everyone around him.

After being diagnosed with kidney failure, he went through with the surgery to have both of the organs removed.  With no access to a kidney transplant, he went through with the treatment known as dialysis. However, complications arose during his first treatment when an unknown long term injury in the skull reacted badly to the process, causing excessive bleeding and swelling of the brain, leaving him unresponsive and unable to even breathe on his own. Because they were unprepared for that reaction, surgeons were unable to do anything. He didn't go without a fight and did everything for his family that he could until his last breath.

The cost of the funeral has been left to his family. With his parents living out of the country in Mexico, expenses to send out his body after his service are very high. Along with airplane expenses to get his children to travel out of the state for their father's funeral and allow them a final moment with the man who gave everything for them. Please help with any donation to give his parents and children a chance to see him one more time and to give them proper closure. He left a mark that will be remembered forever in every person he was able to meet. Rest in peace, one of the best dads there was, Policarpo Sanchez.
