Friends, there are certain times in life when we come across a situation that makes our heart hurt as we feel the pain or burden of another. This situation is one of those times and we are compelled to act!
What has happened to Donnette and her family is nothing short of a complete disgrace!
This precious little girl Donnette has severe physical and mental handicaps caused from medical malpractice. The laws of the Cayman Islands protected the medical practitioners from liability, therefore Donnette's family has been essentially forced into poverty while trying to care for her. They have exhausted all resources and are in a desperate situation that beckons to the kind heart of the good Samaritan. Will you hear and act?
This darling girl is completely incapable of doing anything for herself, being completely bed ridden and the financial burden for what we consider a substandard life is massive. Her mother is unable to work as she is the only one who can care for Donnette.
With that being said, her mother Noreen has laboured without end to care for her. She is in great need of financial assistance, as you can imagine caring for this child is quite costly, almost too overwhelming for her mother to bear alone. We can't imagine the nights she has stayed awake, tears streaming down her face as she cried out to God for a miracle! For someone to help her carry the burden!
We are asking you search deep within and then dig into your pockets and to help us raise a little money to assist sweet Donnette in getting the necessary care she requires and to further alleviate the heavy burden her mother is under.
What we are seeking will not go very far, but it will be a start and we need your help of $100, $500 or even $1,000 right now! Some of our friends and their friends have the ability to donate $10,000 without blinking so we are asking that each one give according to what they can sacrifice as if it were their own family member in great need. You never know when you may find yourself or a loved one in this same type of situation.
Mr. Kent McTaggart and I have set up this page in hopes of raising $125,000 by June 30th, 2016 - we believe this is very possible since we are very connected and live in one of the wealthiest places on the earth!
We also know that this will tremendously bless Donnette and her family, and we know you will help us!
