Dog Runs Needed After Burglary!

Donation protected
PLEASE HELP OUR DOGS!

The weekend of 10/13/17, Central MN Animal Care & Control was a victim of a burglary. Burglars stole $9,000 worth of kennel equipment, spray painted the security system, and even stole the outside donation bin!!

All of their outdoor dog kennel/runs were stolen. The runs are vital to the exercise and the health of the dogs housed at Central MN Animal Care and Control.  Without these outdoor spaces, dogs are not able to get time out of their kennels which is important to alleviate depression and excessive energy.

"We tried to file a claim with the insurance company. It turns out that the out door kennels are not covered. This is horrible. Winter is coming and we need new outdoor runs for the dogs before the snow flies. We are a small shelter  and now all of our savings which were going to go to modernizing and updating the inside of the shelter will have to go to outdoor kennels." - Leslie Fisher, CMACC manager.

Can you help to raise money for Central MN Animal Care & Control? The animals are the ones that truly suffer from this atrocity. The dogs now cannot have ample time outside.  All funds raised will go to purchasing new outdoor runs and a more up to date security system.

Central Minnesota Animal Care and Control, (CMACC), supports area municipalities by providing animal sheltering to municipal entities upon short term request or by long term contract. CMACC has also helped persons in dire need of domestic animal removal, such at hoarding cases.

Central Minnesota Animal Care and Control, LLC, (CMACC) was formed in 2008 for the express purpose of assisting area municipalities to provide animal control services in a professional manner and to provide safe and humane animal shelter for those animals requiring it.

CMACC believes its most important contribution towards solving our domestic animal problems is to make available to area municipalities professional animal control services utilizing trained, knowledgeable personnel along with providing comprehensive educational programs to area citizens. Central Minnesota Animal Care and Control takes pride in educating it's officers using both the National Animal Control Association and Minnesota Animal Control Association techniques and guidelines. Many hold animal control certifications, FEMA certifications, veterinary technichian certifications, and American Red Cross certifications, to name a few.

CMACC is proud to join several other rescue entities and transporters to rescue animals from homeless/neglectful situations.

Sometimes animals in poor health or living conditions need to be transported from an area where there may be no animal shelters or help available to an area where there is. This may involve traveling a certain distance to retrieve the animal or a meet-up with someone who can deliver the animal half-way etc.
