Replace My Engine

I have had my Chevy Cavalier for 14 years. When I bought it, it had a handful of miles on it. I've put only about 74,000 on it. It has served me well and it's the first car I ever paid off. Further, it has several new parts I've added over the years, so I'd like to get as much out of it as I can.

The motor has blown. With a salvage motor, the shop can repair it all for about $2,300 (give or take). This is my only reliable mode of transportation to work and other events. While I can rely on friends and family for the short term, I need reliable transportation.

I don't have the extra income each month to afford a full car payment and I'm unable to secure a loan for the amount required. I have no choice but to beg for assistance.

As many of you know, I'm not one to ask for handouts. Everything I own I have worked hard to obtain. Unfortunately, I'm in a very desperate position. I have no immediate prospects to raise this kind of cash, especially on such short notice.

Anything you can do will be of great help. I know money's tight for everyone, but at this moment, I do not have much choice but to ask for your help.

If you wish merely to loan me a portion of money (independently of Go Fund Me), I will gladly pay you back as soon as I have the ability (or even in payments if you so choose).
