Repatriation for our Friend Ricky

Ricky is a great friend to a lot of people. Ricky was always full of happiness and was very kind to everyone around him. We can still hear his laughter and feel his warm smile in our hearts. Ricky died suddenly and our hearts are broken because of his death.
We have worked with Ricky in the Downhill House Hotel in Ballina, Co. Mayo (now Twin Trees Hotel). Just like most of us non-nationals, Ricky came to Ireland to work so he can support his family back in Indonesia. We, Filipinos, maybe a bit more fortunate to have our own small Filipino community here in Ireland to support us in times like this but for poor Ricky, unfortunately, he is on his own- no family in Ireland, no relatives and no other Indonesian friend close enough to help him. So we appeal to those who knew Ricky and to anyone with a kind heart to help us help send Ricky's body home to his family in Indonesia.
The communication with Ricky's family is a huge challenge because of the language barrier. We hope that through this humble gesture and through your generosity that we will all be able to show Ricky's family that he is loved and that there are genuine people here in Ireland who cared about him.

Campaign Team Background
The team are Ricky's previous colleagues in the Downhill House Hotel in Ballina, Co. Mayo for almost 10 years and some of his closest friends. We are not related to Ricky or any of his family in Indonesia. All team members are live in the Ballina, Croasmolina and Castlebar areas, all in County Mayo.
The campaign organiser (Niamh) is a close friend of Ricky's and is now based in Castlebar. All contents and updates regarding the crowdfunding is put together by the crowdfunding team and with the advice of Clarke, Flynn and McCole Solicitors in Ballina, Co. Mayo.
DONATIONS
The repatriation of Ricky is being arranged through the Indonesian Embassy in London with the assistance of Clarke, Flynn and McCole Solicitors. The transfer of funds (€4875) to the Indonesian Embassy will be facilitated under the advice and guidance of Clarke, Flynn and McCole Solicitors. All remaining donations will be documented and wired via Western Union to Ricky's wife. Arrangements will be made with the assistance and advice of Clarke, Flynn and McCole Solicitors.
Receipts and all related documents will be posted as update on Gofundme.ie and Facebook pages of the crowdfunding team.
