Repair Laura's Car

Our wonderful friend is dealing with some unexpected car trouble due to the cold. Enough trouble that is would cost nearly what the car is worth to fix it, and insurance likely won't help because it was caused by freezing.  Laura is great friend, mother and all around person that works hard, does the right thing to prepare, and was just hit by something she can't control.  Let's all chip in and see if we can't help get her back on the road.

The recent cold snap caused a gasket to freeze in Laura's car, which ended up making it dump all the oil, and cause the engine to seize.  Repairs are likely to be between $3500-$5000, an awful lot of money for a single mom.  Insurance won't cover freezing damage, so it looks like she'll be on her own.  She can't even sell it for scrap as the car is only a few years old and she's still making payments on it.  I know she'd give for anyone that needed it, so let's make her take a little love in the form of the gift of a repaired car to her.
