Renu Choy's Leukemia treatment
Donation protected
Renu my beautiful only sister has just been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia on Jan 14 2019 in Fiji Islands which requires overseas treatment as this is not done in Fiji. For those who know Renu as a kind and most generous person. She is a loving mother to 3 boys and has a caring husband who are devastated to find this news. Renu has always been helpful to people with a big smile especially with her Cooking!
The doctors in Fiji have advised there’s no treatment available for Leukaemia in Fiji and the family needs to seek treatment abroad. Treatment involves multiple rounds of chemotherapy and potential bone marrow transplant. Arrangements are being made to take Renu to India or Australia for treatment urgently. If she is not treated immediately her chances of survival is very low.
Our goal is to raise much needed funds for Renu to help with the growing expenses that will come with her diagnosis. Her medical cost for treatment alone is estimated around 200K. Renu will fight this Leukaemia with everything she has. Her amazing husband, her three boys and family are fighting along side her, but this is going to be a long and expensive fight.
Any contribution towards her medical treatment and ongoing recovery is extremely appreciated. Thank you.
