Rent, Medical & Food Support

Those who may know me have known I'm not new to financial trouble. I lost my housing as a minor and have continually been fighting to make progress where others have had an advantage. My bosses know me as a resilient and reliable worker with transportation issues. My neighbors know me as compassionate and collective, as we share what we have and as we can. My immediately family does what they can to donate food and supplies, as do immediate members of the community who recognize me. These are the things that keep me going - but today we need a little more.

I went from couches to the streets and garages until I finally succeeded in securing housing in West Sacramento, CA. I have worked myself up from job-to-job, beginning as low as $8/hr, and 8 years later I'm making twice that. That being said, I have reaped a world of financial debt behind me. This debt is at risk of putting me back into the streets and garages.

As my recent job advance is the highest I've received yet, my checks are not coming early enough and my rent isn't paid. My significant other recently had an emergency room visit and this isn't the first between the two of us. We need help escaping this hole we're in to stay afloat. I've been pan-handling on the streets when I'm not at work, but the donations there aren't enough.

Please do what you can. I'm requesting donations of $50 as ideal and the shortest path to our goal. Anything less is just as good, necessary and appreciated. With your help, we stand a chance to finally cut even with our bills and debt, and we can finally move up from our position in the economic ladder once and for all.
