Elderly and Mental Health Home

     Hello,  

     My five siblings and I were raised by my single father.  My father is my hero and I grew up watching him struggle to feed and house all 6 of us with only sporadic help. He made sure we were fed and loved. He also taught us that we should always care for each other and the elderly, or infirmed.  I am so grateful for him and he is the reason for my dream.
     In 2003, my father had to have a leg amputation due to PAD and uncontrolled diabetes.  This crippled not only his body but his mind.  He was unable to cope with his new found role in which he saw himself as dependent on others.  He fell into a deep depression that led him to isolate himself and eventually to dementia.  My siblings found ourselves caring for our father.  I became the primary caregiver and through his illness I exhausted my savings and vacation hours.  My employer began to warn me about missing time for his care.  I realized how hard it was for individuals who cant afford the best homes for their love ones but make too much for state assistance.  This turn of events led me to see the need for better care and housing for individuals who are elderly or have mental health issues.
     In 2013,  I started preparing myself to open my own set of houses for individuals who need assisted living but do not thrive in huge, cold facilities.  I want to open a set of small homes that house only 5-8 individuals in a family setting. 
     I am close to achieving my dream and need any assistance available.  We started our own company named Renewed Interventions L.L.C.  We are registered under the VA SCC and are preparing to apply for licensure under the state.  My siblings and I have 2 houses but we can only start one at a time to prepare for social service licensure.  We need medical supplies like pads, depends, wipes etc.  We also need beds and furniture.  And last but not least, we need any financial assistance possible.  I have put everything I have into caring for my dad and fixing up homes to start.  Any assistance will be appreciated.
