My name is Suzanne and I am a 24 year old Irish girl currently living in Milan. I am establishing this GoFundMe page for my good friend Renee Garcia who I am currently studying with in Milan Italy.
Renee Garcia is a 27 year old girl from Venezuela, living in Milan Italy. She is also a Fashion Communication student hoping to finish a years study in Milan, Italy while hoping to establish a new life and career in Europe.
Renee had studied Fashion in Venezuela and worked as a sales assistant while learning to improve her English skills. It wasn't until 2016 while working and helping support her family, that she decided to pursue her passion and return to education. She applied and was accepted to the Milano Fashion Institute to pursue an education and career in Fashion Communication.
She has studied and worked extremely hard throughout the year and has received high grades in each subject. However, the political climate in Venezuela, and the economic sanctions imposed by the Venezuelan government has resulted in a crippling halt in the generous support her family has been able to give her.
She is an extremely talented, warmhearted and kind person, and due to various circumstances may be unable to continue her life and education here. She has proven her capabilities and talents in our field of study, Fashion Communications, and it would be the greatest shame if she must leave. To complete her year in Milan, and help sustain her(rent&food)while she studies and searches for a job, Renee needs as much help as you are willing to give her.
