Rene Gonzalez's US Seminary Move

Those of you who have been on a short term medical mission with me, or other leaders through GHO, know my dear brother in Christ, Rene Gonzalez! Rene and I have partnered together to serve and love the people of El Salvador through the host church Cimiento Estable since 2005.
He is a godly man with a passion for Christ, his country, and his people. Through the years I have had the incredible honor and privilege to work and serve along side Rene as we reached the least , the lost, and the last with the hope and Good News of Jesus Christ. As the years have gone by, I have grown to love Rene and his beautiful wife Magali and children Renecito and Alicia Sophia as my own.
Rene has been the glue that held everything together with each GHO mission. His love for Christ, his people, and his desire to prepare himself to better serve Christ have caused Rene to prayerfully consider what God's plans are for him now.
Those who know Rene, know what an amazing person he is. He is the epitome of a servant leader with the heart of Christ. For years, Rene has considered getting a Masters in Divinity and now God has opened the door for him to do just that! Rene has been accepted into divinity school established and lead by John Piper in St. Paul, Minnesota! He starts around September 2017 but will need to move his entire family there by August 2017. Obviously, there will be significant costs involve with the move and then providing for the basics necessities to support his family.
Rene and his family need your help. He is on scholarship while in school but the remaining costs he cannot cover alone. He needs our help! Would you please prayerfully consider donating to support Rene? The initial goal is $30,000 but the reality is that he will need ongoing support for the entire 4 years he is there. Monthy donors will be crucial but every donation helps! Please show how much you love and appreciate Rene by financially supporting him and his beautiful family any way that you can!
