A face of Renal Cell Carcinoma

My husband Vern and I have spent our lives helping others.  We've been amazed and humbled by how small acts of kindness can help put a smile on someone's face.  Now the time has come when we are making a heartfelt plea for ourselves.  I had cancer in 2015 and had a kidney removed.  Thankfully I didn't require chemo or radiation but was off work for 10 weeks with no pay.  Surgery and the related medical expenses took our savings.  Now the cancer has returned in multiple areas.  It's stage 4 renal cell carcinoma and the costs without even starting medications and treatments are building up fast.  Vern is retired and has a fixed income, I work, but not 40 hours per week and not allowed overtime.  We live as frugal as possible, downsized to a small home, drive cars that are 12 & 14 years old, hold yard sales and have sold as much as we can, but even with insurance, the copays and deductibles are becoming overwhelming.  We need help and a co-worker suggested this go fund campaign.  Any amount you can donate would be most appreciated.  Thank you and bless you.
