So many developments in Christian’s case have happened so quickly over the past 48 hours including the arrest of Charles Curry, the person believed to be responsible for taking Christian’s life.
Our initial goal with this fundraiser was to double the $1,000 reward offered by APD’s Crimestoppers. We met and crushed that goal well before the fund was 24 hours old.
Not only due to the recent developments of APD having arrested an extremely likely suspect in the case but even moreso due to the number of people wanting to contribute in love to Christian’s memory, we are amending this fundraising page to cover any applicable reward to be given to APD with all remaining and further collected funds to be given to his wonderful mother, Becky Croaker, to be used to create something lasting that Christian would have loved and enjoyed. #rememberingchristianmm

Police updated the news link about yesterday’s shooting at Post South Lamar in Austin to confirm the victim as Christian M Meroney.

Christian Meroney was fatally shot last night in Austin, Texas.
No further information is available at this time but his parents are requesting that any Austin friends please reach out and contact them immediately.
Whether you are one of Christian’s friends from Rockwall or Austin, PLEASE add any other persons that knew him so we can join together and do everything we can for these poor parents who just faced the unbelievable loss of their last earthly child.
