Relief For Puna Lava Victims

As many of you know, a unique event is happening on a small part of the Big Island of Hawai'i. Kilauea volcano is erupting in the community of Puna that is near and dear to my heart. Many friends and loved ones have been affected and may never be able to go home. This was my home, my a'ina, for many years. Homes, farms and livelihoods have been taken by the lava. People are permanently displaced and are facing very challenging circumstances. I am asking for your help. I would like to raise funds of which 100% of monies raised will be directly given to the community driven, grassroots organization started by friends, called Pu'uhonua 'O Puna, "A place of refuge for Puna." This is an information and supply hub and a gathering place that is feeding the displaced families and providing respirator masks for the toxic gases that are being emitted from the erupting fissures,  a place where people can go for comfort, where they are supported and cared for.  This is an unprecedented disaster and they need our help. There is no end in sight with the unpredictable current lava flow. All major access roads have been cut off by lava. I know there are many causes to donate for and and any amount will be tremendously helpful. I am asking for your help for this cause. Please keep everyone affected in your thoughts.
