About the project:
Sensory deprivation tanks experience reduces stress, calms the nervous system, and helps one to enter a deep state of relaxation. If you are familiar with the concept, you will love our portable version that we call Rejuvenation Chambers. If this is new, you are in for a treat!
As you step into the chamber, your body sinks into the soft memory foam. You feel like you’re floating. As the lid closes, you feel cool clean air on your face. You can no longer hear the noises from outside. You let the darkness and quiet envelop you, and you meditate or just rest… It is almost like you are deprived of most of your senses that have been overloaded by your experiences of the day. You brain has a chance to reconnect with itself. A few minutes later, you are brought back to reality. The chamber opens, and you see and hear the world anew because you had a chance to rest from external stimuli. You are refreshed and ready for new adventures!
Why are we asking for help?
We brought Rejuvenation Chambers to FreezerBurn and everyone loved them! We enjoyed providing this amazing experience to fellow burners and would like to bring it to Burning Flipside.
We had a sponsor covered a large proportion of the production cost, and the artist covered the rest. However, the chamber lids did not stand up well to the weather conditions. They need to be redesigned and rebuilt. Internal pieces also need to be reupholstered. Because the project is already in the red, we need your help covering the costs. Every dollar helps.
