Regina's road to recovery
Donation protected
In October my best friend Regina Burciaga was diagnosed with a Meningioma brain tumor located where her brain and spine connect. It was compressing on her spine. Doctors told her it was the size of a pea and needed to be removed. Surgery was done on January 11, 2017. The tumor ended up being the size of a golf ball and was pinching the dermal layer causing fluid on her brain. Regina was told with no complications she would be in the hospital 3 days and off work for 8 weeks. She ended up in the hospital 16 days and is still not able to return to work. Due to complications Regina has weakness on her left side and is unable to walk unassisted.
Regina continues with Occupational and Physical Therapy but has no set date to return to work.
Your contributions will help Regina with her daily financial responsibilities if/when she is able to return to work. Any little bit helps and will be appreciated! Please share on your page so others can do the same!
