Breast Cancer Medical Fund

I was diagnosed with breast cancer on February 13, 2015.  A lump had shown up suddenly at the end of December.  Without insurance and just a couple of weeks before our honeymoon  (we were married in May), I decided to wait to have a mammogram done until after we returned.  In the meantime while we were gone, our insurance would kick in.  A little after our return from our honeymoon, I set up an appointment to get a mammogram and ultrasound. With the tests done, they immediatly set me up for a biopsy - they wouldn't allow me to leave until I had the appointment set up. In that moment, my heart already knew it was cancer - 3 days after my biopsy (and after we kind of barged into the doctor's office right before close demanding answers before the weekend), the news came. Malignant breast tumor. We do have insurance now, but it doesn't cover the hospital stay or surgery costs (and we don't have the option to change our insurance plan until November).  We need your help!  Every little bit counts.  We thank you so much for joining us in this fight!

Please check yourselves and get checked often. Don't allow anyone to tell you that breast cancer tumors don't or shouldn't  hurt - it's a myth.  If you find a lump, get checked right away!
