National competition finals in DC

Hello everyone,

My name is Reed Daniel and I am a high school senior and film maker in Chandler, Arizona. The past few months I have had the opportunity to take part in the National History Day competition (NHD.org). My partner and I created a video documentary on the life and legacy of Dr. Wernher von Braun, one of the most influential figures in space exploration who used his technology to bring man to the moon. We have taken our 10 minute video documentary to regional, then state, competition where we won first place. Now, we are headed to Washington DC in June of this year to represent the state of Arizona and compete against students from all over the world. This GoFundMe page supports my trip to Washington DC.
