Recovering Abducted Children

International Parental Child Abduction is on the rise throughout the world each year. The Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction was created to aid in the recovery of wrongfully abducted children and bring them back to their place of Habitual residence. Currently there are 84 countries that have signed up to The Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction, however, due to lengthy processes throughout the courts, the majority of kidnapped children do not get returned back to their country of Habitual Residence even though the courts issue a return order.
The majority of these kidnappings are a traumatic ordeal for the victims. More often than not the children are taken by masked men and bundled into a car to be taken to the kidnapper, who they then realise is their parent who has no legal custody over the child.
The people who are hired to do this horrendous ordeal are not professionals, have no duty of care to the child and do it solely for making some quick money. More often than not, and it has been seen time and time again in the press when these ‘teams’ are arrested, they are tattoo artists, door bouncers, taxi drivers who often are found out to have prior criminal records.
There are a multitude of companies out there that jump at the chance of taking on clients, without making the necessary background checks, receiving the correct documentation such as custody papers, return orders and Interpol warrants. They often take on a case for a high price, and eventually squeeze more money out of the clients until the client has lost everything financially.
I have seen these companies up close in the past. I have seen the destruction and devastation that they leave in their wake and I have the knowledge and experience necessary to counter act their illegal activities.
I am ex British Military, I have been working in the Security industry since leaving the Military in 2004 in various roles throughout the world. I came into Child Recovery in 2013 where I quickly learnt that this is a one-sided industry that takes advantage of the vulnerable in their time of need. I left the industry and started to freelance, giving me the opportunity to take on cases which I knew were legitimate and to date I am the only person who has successfully recovered a Child out of the Lebanon and Japan.
Due to being ex-military, and for the time I have spent in hostile situations around the world in the last 13 years, I am able to operate, plan and execute a child recovery operation in a highly professional manner that causes no traumatic duress to the child victim of the initial kidnapping.
Cyprus alone currently has 13 outstanding missing person’s cases as a result of parental child abduction on the Interpol website. Last year alone Cyprus had 27 reported cases of International Child Abduction which was up from 24 in 2015.
I have put a team together to conduct operations to return these children back to their homes, back to their families. All personnel are ex military and are qualified in Close protection, certified by the SIA Authority in the United Kingdom. Part of this process is a complete background check. This ensures we are able to protect our client/child during the operation. All personnel are also highly trained medics who have served in the military and private sector in hostile areas around the world.
The police have limited resources to be able to do what we can do in a short amount of time and communications in the courts and international relations often break down over time leading to the left behind parent not getting to see their children again.
Costs are incurred with the process of locating and retrieving these children but we do not want the parents to have to become financially unstable to achieve their goal of bringing their family back together.
If we all join together, and donate £1 each, we will be able to bring these children home successfully.
