Recouping after a robbery

Two weeks ago we headed out on a once in a lifetime National parks Road trip. All was going well until we woke up this morning in Washington. Sometime in the night our Toyota Highlander was broken into. Just about everything of monetary and sentimental value was stolen as we slept 10ft away in our pop up trailer. Items as small as park souvenirs all the way up to the kiddos iPads, a laptop and our camera bag with lenses and all our photos from our trip so far are gone. Luckily insurance will cover replacements for most things, however we have two hefty deductibles that must be paid first: one for a renters insurance claim for our things and another comprehensive claim for the car. The key to the car was stolen as well, so now we are stranded in Washington until it can be re-keyed and towed the dealership. To re-key the car with the smart keys (push button start) the dealership is charging approximately $850. And then there is also the price of the tow to get us to the dealership. This is a very large and unexpected cost we weren't planning on for this trip. To top off everything, David had to leave to head back to Denver less than an hour after discovering the theft.
