We are seeking to reconstruct a damaged masjid in need of major reconstruction work in a very poor village in India. This is the only masjid for the entire village and the community are very poor and unable to fund repairs. The masjid has suffered damage over time from severe weather in particular flooding, resulting in the building needing major reconstruction. The community is being deprived of such an important institution in their village. Masjids are the centre of any community where people can congregate for their five daily prayers and Friday congregation sermons. A masjid not only serves as a place where Muslims can come together for prayers, but for information, education and meetings. Our aim is to raise £12000.00 - 16000.00 through LILLAH donations ONLY as this is the only acceptable form of donations that can be given towards building a masjid. It is an excellent form of Sadaqah Jariyah which has benefits in this world and the hereafter for whomever you make the intention for.
Be generous, therefore, for whatever you spend on yourself is only for your temporary sustenance while whatever you spend in the way of Allah (swt) is an investment in your future which will provide everlasting sustenance. Seek to invest in others for your own benefit with whatever Allah (swt) has endowed you.
Love for worldly possessions is primarily a disease of the heart while the purpose of sadaqa is to act as its antidote or cure. Sadaqa serves as a form of dhikr to remind us that all forms of wealth come from Allah (swt) and what we possess is simply a short term loan for which we will be held accountable for.
Allah (swt) has promised of reward in the hereafter to those who spend and give charity, to the one who builds a masjid or participates in building it, for the sake of Allah (swt) and for seeking reward with Him.
We ask Allah (swt) to give us success in this life and the hereafter and enable us to continue doing good, and reward those who support His noble religion. May your charitable deeds count towards sadaqatul jariat, bi’ithnillah and may ALLAH (swt) accept your donation and give you more. May ALLAH (swt) bless you and all in your family and give you good in this world and in the hereafter. Ameen.
Hadith: The Prophet Muhammad (sal Allahu alayhi wa salaam) said:
"Whoever builds a mosque with the intention of seeking Allah's pleasure, Allah will build for him a place in Paradise."

Whatever you give or spend in the way of Allah (swt) will be returned to you in manifold increase. Allah (swt), the most Bountiful and the most Loving, commends:
“Lend unto God a goodly loan. Whatever good you shall forward on your behalf, you shall find it with God, as better and richer in reward.” [al-Muzzammil 73: 20.]
Allah (swt) says:” Of their wealth take alms to purify and sanctify them.” [at-Tawba 9:103.] Furthermore: “ He that spends his possessions [on others] so that he might grow in purity.” [al-Layl 92: 18.]
“Those who spend their wealth (in Allah (swt) Cause) by night and day, in secret and in public, they shall have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve” (2:274)
Allah (swt) says in the Qur'an: “O you who believe! Spend from the good things which you have (legally) earned, and of that which We have produced from the earth for you” (2:267).
“The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the Way of Allah (swt), is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains. Allah (swt) gives manifold increase to which He wills. And Allah (swt) is All-Sufficient for His creatures' needs, All-Knower” (2:261)
Furthermore the Prophet (saw) mentioned that the believers shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his sadaqah (Ahmed) and he (saw) also stated that sadaqah extinguishes sins as water extinguishes fire (Ahmed, Tirmidhi, ibn Majah)
