Help The Harpers Rebuild

On 10/8/14 around 1:30pm there were several small fires that started along highway 80 near Applegate and out towards Weimar and the American River Canyon. Around 3:30pm Jody received a call that there was a mandatory evacuation in her neighborhood. She immediately left work to try and retrieve anything she could from her home. Unfortunately by the time she and her husband, Steve, arrived the firefighters told them it was too dangerous to enter the premises. At this point all they could do was wait. The next day looked promising. Their was news that her home was still standing.  But, as the Command Center had time to further investigate it was determined around 3:40pm on 10/9/14 that they had lost their home. All they have now are the clothes they were wearing.  The Harper's are determined to rebuild this Family home and to restore the memories.  It's difficult to lose everything and to start over. Let's not make them do it alone.
