Rebuilding for Amy Torgerson

My sister, Amy Torgerson, lost everything yesterday (5/19/19) when lightning struck her apartment building and her unit caught on fire. Thank God, she and her dog, Ozzy, were not home. Amy had been on a business trip with her boyfriend and got the call that her apartment was on fire. She found out that there was nothing salvageable in the apartment not only from the fire but there was a lot of water damage when firefighters were putting out the fire. They've also had rain and more is predicted over the next couple of days. She has not been able to get into the building at all. Unfortunately, Amy does not have renters insurance so she has nothing. Only her computer, bags from her trip and her pup. Amy is staying in FL for a week and will be starting an internship in NC for the summer. For any of you that know Amy, you know that she is one of the kindest people you will meet. She will give you the shirt off her back, fight for you, give in any way she can, is generous and forgiving. She cares deeply and gives more than she has. She is hardworking and determined. She will literally eat only rice and beans to save her money to buy a couch with cash. She has taken low paying jobs to help get her towards her dream job because life isn't about the money. Amy is a tremendous person and someone I have always looked up to. Please help us by blessing her in any way you can. If you cannot donate money but you have items or gift cards, please let me know. I can get them to her. I plan on bringing things to her early this summer in NC.
