Keep us off the Streets!

So here we are, again. Needing help. It was always hard but we were doing it. After 3 months of working our asses off, being homeless, but making it to work everyday, we finally got a home. Brittany (me) finally had a safe place for her daughter who is after school ended, finally moved in and can comfortably go from her dad's and mom's whenever she pleases. David has had Logan over half the time, and is hoping to continue to until he starts Kindergarten this fall and hopes to have him as much as possible when it does start up. We even have some new four legged family members after taking in an abandoned pregnant kitty. We felt for her plight, we understood what it meant to be scared and homeless. We were blissfully happy until tragedy struck, and the unspoken, never named member of the family passed away. My car. We don't live on the bus route, and even if we did it wouldn't have mattered. We fought, tooth and nail, my ex husband driving us around, putting his own life on hold until we got a vehicle, only for it to break down a few weeks later. I rarely missed work, but lost my job for not having reliable transportation which was a requirement of the job. David's been waiting on disability but still working.  Getting a higher paying job is out of the question this late in the game, the final hearing is close. I need to get a job, but in walking distance but with a negative bank account, this is even not going to help us this month. I was the bread winner. Now we have to figure out how to get his lien transferred for child support onto a different car but don't even know if that's an option in order to get another car that his uncle is going to trade for the jeep we just got. In the mean time, I don't want to send my daughter back to her dad's, face eviction or put Logan through this, who has been going through some other stuff lately. Please help if you can. If you can't pass this down for me.
