My Album "Rebirth" Needs You To Be Born

We have followed the most unlikely of roads.
While the idea of me singing for a living was a treasured once ever since I was a small girl. The dream started to take shape back in 2006, when I started working on some pop songs with my dear friend Elvin. The tale grew in the telling, as Tolkien used to say, and 2008 found me transitioning into world music instilled with mantras and a clear, uplifting message.
We have built a collection of songs around messages of hope, devotion and love. We have built it upon a foundation of strong Latin and world rhythms, of soaring voices and thoughtful lyrics, and collaborations with friends and family. As good wine, it has taken its time to mature. We have done it out of sheer will, and with small investments in software and equipment over time. We have used English and Spanish as our springboard. With epic songs like "Call To Shiva" and "Let Us", and incursions into jazz, pop and new age, we are finishing this vehicle, and we need to drive it into the world.
The truth is it's has been sculpted with persistence and will. And it just needs a little push from you to get finished. This time around, we are asking for a little show of faith. WE ARE COUNTING ON PEOPLE LIKE YOU to help us master the album, and print a few copies to sell during my forthcoming tour so it can finance itself. What we are proposing is that you help us, and the least you will get is a copy of the album, one we hope you will like. Larger donations will help offset the expenses of a Latin America tour via sales of the album in places such as New York City, and countries such as Brazil, Colombia and Mexico.
We expect the album to be finished during the Summer of 2014.
