"I live in a kaleidoscope of love that my family and friends weave around me. With them I am never nothing. I feel fully embraced. Even though I am physically altered – my hair has fallen out, I’m wasted thin, my belly distended – still, I am whole with them. This is an incredible gift. I am whole in their presence." - Rebecca Snyder

Hi everyone!

Many of you know and love Rebecca Snyder as much as we do, and we're not sure ho many of her friends know how tough it's gotten lately.

Rebecca's physical health is taking her on a harrowing journey right now, not to mention the bills piling up.

Rebecca was first diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in October of 2010, 3 weeks before her and her husband, Jason's 1 year wedding anniversary.

Ever since both of their lives have been dedicated to recovering from this disease.

Rebecca has gone through a mastectomy along with radiation, chemotherapy, and various forms of holistic medicine.

It is extremely expensive to be sick and it seems a shame that Rebecca and Jason have to be worried about money when they're in survival mode.

Rebecca has not been able to work.

Jason has to work and can't be with rebecca.

Our goal is to help do the following:

- pay medical bills beyond what insurance is covering

- enable them to continue living in their own space

- help Jason have more time with Rebecca

- ease their hearts and minds

We are not able to anticipate what their costs will be.

Our current goal, to help them with immediate bills and living expenses is $25,000. Just give what you can - everything helps, including sharing this page with your beloveds and/or leaving a message for R & J.

If you have been touched by Rebecca's healing presence or moved by Jason's therapeutic music, consider making a small donation to lessen the burdens that we can actually help.

For those who want a window into Rebecca's journey with cancer, we recommend reading her very personal and vulnerable blog "On Suffering and the Kaleidoscope of Love” recently published on The Heart of the Healer.

Thank you so much for joining us on this journey, for being part of this Kaleidoscope of Love.

We love you and are so grateful for your help!!!!

Dear friends and family,

Today, November 8th 2018, is Rebecca and my 9th anniversary. I am writing you today because I am, and have been, filled with such a deep gratitude for the gifts and support you shared with us.

Your support gave us the most precious gift of all, time together.

Because of you and your support I was able to be near Rebecca in her last days with us here. Because of you I was able to be with Rebecca when she passed. And next to our wedding, her passing was the most beautiful and awe inspiring moment in my life. I was humbled by Rebecca's courage and grace.

So thank you, thank you for that precious gift.

I have one request. Would you please send me your physical address and contact information? Even if you think I have it, please send it anyway I'd like to stay in touch beyond here.

With all my love,

Jason

From Jason:

Dear Loves,
A week ago today, May 4th 2018 at 8am my love Rebecca Lucy “Firehorse” Snyder peacefully passed from this plane of existence into the great mystery.
I had just sat down to read to her from “Emmanuel’s Book: A Manual for Living Comfortably in the Cosmos,” a book given to me by Rebecca’s mentor. I was only able to read one line when Rebecca took her third to last breath, a breath that was clearly a sign she was leaving. I climbed into our bed with her, stroked her shoulder and told her “I love you. Everything is going to be ok, I’m going to be ok, we all are going to be ok. I am so proud of you.”
As she prepared to take her last breath Amy Isakov came into the room and stood by her side, held her and sang a beautiful song while we cried.
Rebecca was finally fully at peace and out of discomfort.
Sharing that moment with Rebecca, and then Amy, was one of the most beautiful gifts among an enumerable list of generous and intangible gifts Rebecca has given me since we first met.
Rebecca, I thank you. I bow to you. I love you.

To all our family and friends, I love you. Thank you for all your kind words this week and all of your spiritual and material support. You have kept me lifted and connected to Rebecca’s spirit. You allowed me to be with Rebecca at her passing.
Moving forward please be generous with the expression of your love. Tell more people you love them because we never know when we won’t be able to speak to our beloveds again.
And please, if you haven’t, read Rebecca’s series on facing the unknown and death. (See below in the comments)
I thank you. I bow to you. I love you.
Jason
