Dear Residents and Property Owners,
We have all watched the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey and Irma and our hearts go out to the families suffering from loss and tragedy.
Natural disasters hit especially close to home. As Property Owners, Residents, and Property Managers in Sioux Falls know, water in homes is awful, disruptive, and expensive.
This is an email we received from John Grey, the owner of the Real Property Management office in Houston, Texas.
“We in our office have been scrambling, putting in 16 to 18 hour days checking properties, communicating with tenants and owners, searching the country for blowers, dehumidifiers, panel trucks, sheetrock etc. Today, is the first day that I feel we are getting a handle on things in the past 10 days. So far our office total is 14 flooded homes, 48 with water intrusion (1” or less), 136 with roof damage and one property that just floated down the river. We still have a few properties in areas that continue to be inaccessible due to high water, so totals are likely to rise.”
I often think that we could easily be hit by tragedy one day when a giant tornado sets its crosshairs on the Sioux Falls community and we need the generosity of our neighbors.
To that end, Real Property Management Express will MATCH your donations to the American Red Cross for up to $10,000.
If each of our customers and clients would contribute $10, our little community of Residents, Property Owners, and Real Property Management Express could send $20,000 to support the recovery efforts in Texas and Florida.
