Ready, Willa, and Able: Support Willa’s Recovery

The Johnson family is respectfully asking for donations to help with the overwhelming medical costs for their four-year-old daughter, Willa, who has been on life support since July 3rd after a devastating drowning accident.

Little Willa is the baby of the family, the youngest of three beautiful girls who are close in age and each other's best friends. She's adored by everyone who meets her and has the entire neighborhood wrapped around her little finger. Willa is sweet, smart, a firecracker, and has the kind of outgoing personality that illuminates any room. Willa's family's world came to a screeching halt when the accident happened only 2 days before her 4th birthday. Instead of cake and balloons, they faced ventilators and nurses -- every parent's worst nightmare. Since then, they have been by her side as she fights for her life, moment to moment. She is still unconscious at this time, but her family remains positive that she will wake up soon and they will see their wide-eyed, smiling daughter look up at them again. Willa has the spirit and determination of a warrior (her name even means "valiant protector"), and THAT gives them hope.



Since Willa has been in the hospital, her parents have taken a leave of absence from their jobs, but the medical costs continue to pile up. They have always been a hard-working couple and they hate to ask for help, but this precious time is dire. They wouldn't ask if it wasn't.
