Read to A Dog!

This summer my daughter as spent her time "Reading to A Dog" and bringing awareness to the pets who are in need of a home, by creating pamphlets. Because of the stress and anxiety that these loving and adorable animals have experienced, she volunteers to sit and Read to a Dog. Giving each animal who spends a majority of its time sitting alone in the kennel a opportunity to have a one on one experience with her. Sometimes after reading you will see her lay out her mat and lay down next to the kennel and sing "You are my sunshine" (a song I sang to her when she was younger to calm her). I smile and get teary eyed to see the love that she gives. With your donation (no matter how small) a dog or cat can get the medical attention needed and can be fed. The Montgomery County Humane Society is a non profit organization that runs off of donations and needs your help to keep them operating.
