RCDC Takes the Cascade!

Redding needs something that refreshes & awes her people. After such a difficult year with the Carr & Camp fires, the city deserves an expression of art, beauty and inspiration now more than ever. 

This is why we, the Redding City Dance Company, are excited to bring our best to you this March. RCDC is bringing their most excellent and elaborate annual Spring performance yet. In the heart of downtown Redding, the Cascade theater will host a dance concert like Redding hasn’t experienced before. 

The performance “me & you; us” features 9 highly trained, professional dancers, accompanied by 10 trainees, all local to Redding. The choreography is an exploration of the Enneagram, bringing this deeply impactful personality study to life through movement and sound. We are interested in every audience member finding themselves; their greatest hopes & fears in this work in a profound way. This is more than a performance, it’s an invitation to a deeper appreciation of yourself. 

As a local dance company, we are looking for partners. Your help is CRUCIAL to our success this year. We truly want to put local art on the map with this high quality show. This requires us to find resources for the costs, that are higher than we can currently cover as a small, local company. 

In order to bring this performance to Redding we need: 

$2,200 by February 14th for Cascade Theater Rental Deposit Deadline!! We're so close!!

$1,100 for production costs & costumes by February 20th

$2,200 by March 20th for full Cascade Theater Rental Cost ($4,400 rental total)
