Project Impact | Youth Suicide Prevention

Tax deductible

Friends, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated in spreading awareness and generating funds for this Atlas SF8 GoFundMe Campaign, which has been recognized as the most impactful group the Jason Foundation has worked with in 21 years. This major milestone, both for Atlas and Jason Foundation would not have been possible without you.

This GoFundMe campaign is now closed so we can work to gift the funds directly to Jason Foundation. The fundraising campaign may be over, but our team is not done! We look forward to communicating with donors directly and sharing on social media the direct impacts these gifts have made.

If you are viewing this campaign and are still interested in making a gift to the Jason Foundation, please contact them directly, http://jasonfoundation.com/get-involved/fundraising-awareness-events/.
There are a number of ongoing fundraising and awareness events you can get involved in.

If you are interested in the Atlas Project, which is the program responsible for bringing together this team of highly motivated individuals passionate about making a difference, please visit https://www.atlasproject.org/.

Humbled and grateful for the success of this GoFundMe effort, and committed to continuing to spread awareness to break the silence about youth suicide. Together, we have already made a difference.
Help spread the word!

Each year 4,600 adolescent lives full of unlimited possibility are lost to suicide in the United States.
Suicide was the second leading cause of death among American adolescents ages 10-14 and emerging young adults ages 15-24 in 2016. In a recent national survey, 1 in 15 students reported considering suicide and 13% indicated creating a plan. These statistics are even more staggering for marginalized youth.

There is a pressing need for more resources, more love, and more support for our future generation.

We the leaders of Atlas Project SF8 Redesign are 26 individuals committed to creating a world of connection, possibility, and awareness by being loving, vulnerable, and present. Creating a world where youths feel connected to themselves and one another IS our vision. Help us support our heart-centered, supportive communities that will prevent teen suicide-related behaviors.

The Jason Foundation, Inc.  is dedicated to the prevention of the “Silent Epidemic” of youth suicide through educational and awareness programs that equip young people, educators/youth workers and parents with the tools and resources to help identify and assist at-risk youth.

Join us in making a difference. Share our vision with your community, and we are grateful for your contribution. Every gift makes a difference. Your contribution will go directly to the Jason Foundation.

Remember: Do not hesitate to get involved and always take any child/adolescent’s desire or intent to harm themselves seriously. If you suspect a young person of suicidal thoughts, get them to professional help immediately.

If you or someone you know is experiencing a crisis, call 911 or 1-800-273-TALK (8255)

Suicide is Preventable.
