RawfeyL Burge

My friendship with RawfeyL started just about two years ago. Our friendship is centered around art. Talking about it, looking at what other artists doing, going to see it and making art. His favorite thing to do is to recycle discarded things into wonderful works of art. He is doing the same with his body as he transitions into the man he has always been on the inside. This is a huge surgery that requires a minimum of 8 weeks to heal and recover. He will not be able to work during this time and we are asking for help with his medical and living expenses. After surgery he will be in an assisted care facility for two to three weeks in San Francisco before he can come home to the central coast of California. There will be weekly trips back to San Francisco to check in the the surgeon while he heals. 

RawfeyL is not only into art (works in photo are for sale) he has also been a background actor for the hit show “Transparent” and attended workshops in LA to further round out his acting experience which he hopes to continue when recovered. He is also in a documentary about this experience. As a thank you all donations will be acknowledged in the credits of the film. He has been in our local “New Times” newspaper repeatedly both for his art and his experiences undergoing top surgery as a trans man on the central coast.
