Storm Damage

Donation protected
So both myself and my mother in law took a rough hit from Michael. The storm ripped out a large portion of wall in our house trailer as well as water damage. The wiring is all twisted and torn out so we currently have the breakers off. I have registered with FEMA and have all my paper work in but because the trailer is so old, it might take them a few weeks to getting everything needed for our application. At the moment myself, husband and kids are staying in a storage building. We are safe, I have a drop cord run for AC and a mini fridge. But I dearly need to get the house fixed or set up a camper to live in while we await FEMA.  The husband is working with Tetratech to help cleanup our county so he is gone 6 am till 7 pm for the next three months. He won't be able to do the work himself so we need to hire a contractor.

I hate asking for help, most of you know just how stubborn I can be. I will gladly make arrangements for reimbursement, once FEMA has settled or in fall veggies. With my husband working locally, we just couldn't take the voucher for a hotel out of town. The sooner I can get my kiddos into some normal semblance of life, the  better for all of us.

I really appreciate the little corner of the world we live in. Sometimes it seems hard because we are so far away from a big town, but a big city could never compare to the heart and soul and sheer perseverance our corner of the panhandle has.
