medical, travel, life exspenses

As many of you know Rashaad was recently diagnosed in the terminal stage of non alcoholic chirossis. He is in need of a liver transplant to even have a chance to survive this. With the chirossis spreading as rapidly as it is along with the aggressive complications that he has accuired because of it, the doctors decided he is simply to sick to return to work. With that being said medical exspenses are starting to add up along with traveling exspenses and everyday needs. We will have to start traveling back and forth to the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit from Grant very soon. I thought we would have sometime to adjust and figure things out however, with this illness spreading as fast as it is the doctors have put a rush on it all and the steps are going very fast. With him being unable to work leaves a burden that is heavy especially for a man who believes that his only job is to be the provider for his family. He has fought the doctors long and hard on this matter but just has no more fight in him. I am reaching out to our family and friends in this time and asking for help. We need Rashaad better for many reasons, I cant imagine a rocket football game without him coaching the boys, or any home game/meet without his voice over the speaker announcing. I cant fathom coming home everyday and not seeing his smiling face or hearing about the next thing he is working on with the kids in our community. I have seen him give 100% of who he is to everyone he knows. He is such a wonderful man, I know he has a long, hard, scary, painful road ahead of him. However, those reasons i mentioned above are more than enough reason for him to keep fighting to hang on and wait for this liver to come. We know we arent facing this alone many of you have asked where to donate and how to help. This gofundme account will be linked to an in trust account we are setting up at choice one back in grant this week. If you are more comfortable making a donation stright to the bank please feel free to do what feels best. We want to try and keep our 4 childrens lives as normal as possible, they are already having a very hard and dont need anything else to change. I am a full time student trying to finish up my RN so I can provide a good life for our family if Rashaad is no longer able to return to work after the transplant. Along with being by his side to take him to all his appointments and testing, through all of this limits my availablity for anything extra. Being able to go through this without the added stress of finanaces would be most helpful for our family, and Rashaad. Thank you in advance to those of you who have helped and who will be able to help. Continued thoughts and prayers are very welcomed.
